Eight articles in this volume deal with Luke and Acts, and their coverage of this subject ranges from a research report to detailed studies such as an analysis of Luke's practice of quotation. Nine of the essays focus on early Christian Apocrypha and the ancient church; five essays deal with theological topics at the crossroads between the New Testament and the Apocrypha.
